Redes Sociales Digitales y Discapacidad. Desafíos para la Colaboración y la Gestión Pública.

Abstract: This research aims to conduct a study about two concepts: digital social networks and disability. Specifically, we wanted to know more about the potential that digital social networks represent for the disability ecosystem in general, as well as for disabled people in particular. Specifically, it is intended to make an approximation to the reality of social technologies and disability, through an exhaustive analysis of social media adoption on organizations related to disability in Spain. Additionally, it is intended to identify in which situation of maturity the use of social media is within these organizations. And, at the same time, to identify success cases. Complementarily, it is intended to conduct a feasibility analysis to explore the development of a social media specialized in disability, as there are in other sectoral areas.
