It is a roadmap to address social, economic, environmental and governance challenges from an open and integrated perspective. Universities can contribute to the localization of SDGs through their main missions, that are training and research, but also through the transfer of knowledge and the adaptation of its own internal governance to this new framework. Its impact on the achievement of the 17 SDGs can be especially significant in four areas: Research, Education, Management and Governance, and Social Leadership.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6a657de\" data-id=\"6a657de\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2eb3ce1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2eb3ce1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>UAM SDG - Sustainable Campus<\/h4><p>The\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exteriores.gob.es\/Portal\/es\/SalaDePrensa\/Multimedia\/Publicaciones\/Documents\/CRUE Universidades Espa%C3%B1olas. Posicionamiento Agenda 2030.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commitment\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>of Spanish universities to the 2030 Agenda is explicit,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/reds-sdsn.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Guia-ODS-Universidades-1800301-WEB.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">promoting<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0its implementation in all areas of university activity. It does so by also making a commitment to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rri-tools.eu\/es\/about-rri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Responsible Research and Innovation<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(RRI). Thus, we incorporate the holistic and integrated approach of the SDGs in the performance of all our activities, paying special attention to the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/openscience\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">principles of Open Science<\/a><\/strong>.
