Abstract: Although the quality of contract management is acknowledged to be important for a proper provision of outsourced public services, we know very little about the factors that positively or negatively influence contract management. Therefore, this study aims to understand how public managers perceive the quality of the way in which they manage contracts and to find out what factors facilitate or hinder proper contract management.
